Updated Protein Balls

I took my former recipe for these protein balls and gave it a make over!
It's always fun when you can mix things up.

My original recipe is: 
10-12 dates
1/2 c. almonds
1/4 cup of shredded, unsweetened coconut flakes
1-2 TPSP Chocolate Shakeology (OR other chocolate protein powder)

*mulch*

Add about 1/8 tsp water, as necessary (careful not to add too much so it doesn't get too sticky)

Add a dash of sea salt, and mulch until it's well blended.

Today, I added 1/2 cup old fashioned oats and 1/4 cup ground flax seed.
That requires an increase in water so I added a little as I went...making sure to not add too much.
The increase in dry ingredients helped me get more balls out of the batch.

They still only took about 10 minutes to make--and 10 seconds to disappear.

The boys really dig these!!
