A lot of what I do is homemade. I sew clothes. I make meals from scratch. I find things in my home to use to teach our boys. I use what I have to initiate learning.

I also educate myself. You can learn a lot of things through the internet and books and podcasts and webinars and..you get my drift?

Of course, I have to purchase many things, but that's beside the point. The point is, learning takes place in the home. The majority of a child's learning takes place in the home. It makes sense.

I'm a mom. I do stay at home with our boys. I am their teacher of all things (with the help of my supportive and wonderful husband, yes!). It is my responsibility to nurture them but I also have a responsibility to help them learn.

About God.

About anything their inquisitive minds want to know.

I will create learning in our home. I have to. It's inevitable, if you think about it. We are constantly learning.
