What's Your Why?



Why?

Why get up at 5:30 (cuz you hit snooze 3 times from the initial 5am alarm ) when the baby kept you up til 1:30?? 

Who does that? 
Me.

I do it because my WHY is bigger than my excuses. And I'm not saying that to boast. I'm also not saying I'm perfect at it. BUT I what I AM saying is I know where I'm going with my life and business and sleeping in wont get me there. 

Sleeping in keeps the debt. 
Sleeping in keeps the extra inch on my waist. 
Sleeping in gets me behind on my goals. 

Sleeping in...is NOT an option right now....2 and 3 years down the road, yes, but not right now. 

Plus, I can grab a power nap when the baby naps. I know the day ahead and know I can close my eyes for 15 minutes and catch the break I need. 

What's YOUR why??

It's always hit and miss with everyone but ya win some, ya lose some.

Stuffed Bell Peppers

Who else has had stuffed bell peppers?? This is a first for me.

I was the only one who ate them. MORE for ME!

In retrospect...
Did I make two dinners?
Yes.
Does this happen often?
You bet your bottom it DOESN'T!!!! Mwahaha!

Ground beef prepared was split, some for my peppers and some for the boys' spaghetti. Slight amount of extra preparation, but nothing big.
.
Do what ya gotta do, I guess.
I love trying new things and I've come to terms with the fact that the boys (and my husband) don't always like what I make...especially NEW things. So, I sacrifice some nights and put in a little extra prep time. But I try to combine as much as possible.

Cuz this mom ain't got time for that!

Less Financial Stress

You know that time when your husband comes home from getting the car serviced and he tells you all the things that need to be fixed on the car...

And your first question is "How much is that going to cost?"
.
Yep, that was me last week. 

I used to fret over the costs...knowing they were essential to helping the car last and essential to avoiding further, more expensive fixes down the road.

But I didn't this time.

Fretting isn't an issue when you actually have the funds to cover such expenses.

That's what coaching a has allowed for our family--> LESS Financial STRESS!!

I'm so glad I took a chance and stepped out of my comfort zone doing something that I've become so passionate about...something that brings time and financial freedom where there once wasn't.

Trust the System

Totally slept in. 

Actually I did it on purpose. I didn't even set my alarm. My boys woke me up and so they were my alarm. 

Feels good not to get up at 5...but now it's time to work!! and workout. 

P90x3 Agility today! Not my favorite workout in the program BUT I'm still going to push hard.

You ever have those? Particular workouts in a program that just aren't your fav but you still do 'em cuz you know it's a system you can trust??

Homemade Honey Mustard Dressing

It's homemade honey mustard dressing.


 
I add it to a lot of things I used to add ranch to. I like thing "moist". So this is a great healthy substitute.

My first time with a homemade dressing. I think.
.
If you're into this kind of dressing, I highly recommend making your own!! 
------
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
3 TBSP Dijon Mustard 
3 TBSP raw honey
3 TBSP rice vinegar
1/4 cup EVOO
Sea salt to taste
.
Combine first 4 ingredients in a medium bowl and mix well. 
Slowly add oil, whisking constantly until well blended. 
Serving size: 2 TBSP (102 cal.)

It's definitely about balance and priorities and when any of them are climbing and clingy...I can choose to stop working and be present. 


I LOVE my job but I LOVE my family more!!

I was on a webcast with the one and only Darren Hardy (Publisher of SUCCESS Magazine)!

People pay big bucks to learn from that man and I earned an hour long training from him...all because I was able to help 3 people last month.

Talk about MOTIVATING!!


 

He has definitely lit a FIRE and I loved how he reminded me that EVERYONE has the potential for GREATNESS!! 

I CAN do hard things and I CAN be successful with my goals and dreams.
